Position Overview
All Things Accuracy is seeking a skilled and passionate Bow Technician to join our team full-time. This position is for someone who takes pride in precision work and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The Bow Technician will be responsible for advanced bow setup, tuning, repair, and customer support, while also assisting with retail operations and maintaining a professional, organized shop environment.

Key Responsibilities
Advanced Bow Setup, Tuning & Repair
- Perform complete bow setup, tuning, and repair to manufacturer and ATA standards
- Install and configure accessories including sights (2nd & 3rd axis), rests, peep sights, D-loops, stabilizers
- Execute advanced tuning techniques including paper tuning, bare shaft tuning, and broadhead tuning
- Perform string and cable installation, serving repairs, and cam timing/synchronization
- Make structural adjustments (draw length, draw weight, cam lean, brace height, axle-to-axle)
- Assemble, service, and troubleshoot compound and recurve crossbows
Customer Fitting & Consultation
- Measure draw length, assess eye dominance, and properly fit customers to equipment
- Educate customers on safe operation, shooting form, and maintenance
- Build custom arrows (cutting, fletching, spine selection, and configuration)
- Provide consultative sales support, recommending equipment based on skill level and goals
Customer Service
- Deliver a welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional customer experience
- Accurately document service requests, repairs, and work orders
- Advise customers on equipment care, upgrades, and performance improvements
- Support retail floor operations as needed
Shop Operations & Technical Expertise
- Safely operate shop equipment including bow presses, draw boards, arrow saws, and fletching jigs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient service area
- Assist with inventory management, receiving, and restocking
- Maintain accurate records for service work and warranty claims
- Support events, leagues, and peak business periods
Collaboration & Professionalism
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain high-quality output during high-volume periods
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff when needed
Policies
Time Off
- Up to 15 unpaid calendar days per year
- No time off during peak season (JulyβDecember)
- Single day requests require 24-hour notice
- Two or more consecutive days require 2 weeks advance notice
Outside Work Policy
- All archery-related services must be performed through All Things Accuracy
- Private work for ATA customers is not permitted

What We're Looking For
- Strong technical knowledge of compound bows and archery equipment
- Experience with bow tuning and repair preferred

- Ability to work efficiently during peak seasons
